What is reiki massage?
This technique helps loosen muscles and increases blood flow throughout the body.
During the Reiki massage the practitioner uses a lighter touch or holds their hands just above the body. Reiki sessions are typically non-invasive and tend to be complementary in nature to pressure-based massage, as it aims to relieve ailments such as stress and anxiety through energy work.
Sometimes the experience of Reiki is dramatic, while for other people, the first session in particular may be uneventful, although they feel somehow better afterward. The most common experience is an almost immediate release of stress and a feeling of deep relaxation.
The session is carried out fully clothed.
