What is Coaching?

Health Coaching is a collaboration between you and your Health Coach.

As the client, you select your own focus areas and your Health Coach will offer evidence-based treatment options, information, guidance, and a framework to best suit your needs.

Your Health Coach will always respect you as an expert in your own life with the ability to choose your own pathway and strategies.

  • A thorough evaluation of your current health and background
  • Guidance in creating your health and wellness vision and goals
  • Exploration of your motivation to change health behaviours
    Strategies to enhance helpful behaviours to speed up your success
  • Tips and tricks to remove barriers to making changes
  • Resources to support you to make changes, ie. how to identify triggers and plan for high-risk situations
  • Evidence based information to help you continually improve your knowledge base
  • Tips and health hacks to boost your skills, ie. planning, cooking
  • Structured goal setting, ‘how to guide’ on creating action plans to support your goals, methods of tracking your progress
  • Ongoing support for the duration of your program – App sharing, email, phone, Skype, Zoom and in-person
If nutrition is your focus, we will cover:

  • Detailed review of your current dietary intake
  • Ongoing monitoring of your dietary intake
  • Tailored meal plans
  • Meal and snack ideas
  • Shopping and cooking tips
  • Recipes suited to your dietary requirements, ie. low FODMAP, vegetarian, plant-based etc.
  • Guides to support you to reach nutrient targets, ie. calcium, B12, Zinc, folate
